The Fairfield Arts Council, working in conjunction with the Community Development Block Grant through the Town of Fairfield’s Department of Community and Economic Development, is proud to unveil a new mural at Operation Hope, painted by Liz Squillace. Liz is a local artist and a resident of the Read’s Artspace Lofts in Bridgeport. Her work can be seen on painted electrical boxes in Bridgeport and Stamford, CT where Liz is the co-president of the Loft Artist Association.

The Fairfield Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and supporting the arts and artists in the town of Fairfield. FAC Seeks opportunities to encourage, promote and fund the arts and artists in our community while provide programs and educational events to engage the Fairfield Community.

The mural decorates a wall of the new medical room located at the Operation Hope food pantry, where Southwest Community Health Center will provide health information and basic health screenings to guests during pantry hours. This room was made possible by grants from Fairfield Rotary Club and the Young Women’s League of New Canaan.
