Did you know that Connecticut is seeing a 35% reduction since 2014 in homelessness, at a time when homelessness is increasing nationwide? This is the result of the efforts of Opening Doors Fairfield County, a county-wide continuum of care that works together with 125 agencies, and is chaired by Operation Hope’s Executive Director Carla Miklos and Supportive Housing Works’ David Rich. Please read Carla’s op-ed here on how this coordinated network is making huge strides to end homelessness for our most vulnerable residents, which was published this week in the Fairfield Citizen and Connecticut Post. And if you are inclined, the best way to help us continue our work is to make a donation at bit.ly/oh-donate or bring non-perishable donations to the Food Pantry. Thank you for helping our neighbors in need, we are always grateful to be part of such a generous community.
