Many of our clients who are parents are already struggling to pay for rent and food and simply cannot afford the high cost of an adequate supply of diapers for their children, which can cost over $100/month. Also, safety net programs such as WIC and SNAP do not cover diapers. Please consider donating diapers (any size, open packs accepted) to the Town of Fairfield, CT-wide diaper drive hosted by State Reps Brenda Kupchick and Laura Devlin, in cooperation with Operation Hope, to collect diapers for our clients. The drive runs through June 16 and culminates with a celebration and drop off at Saugatuck Sweets in Fairfield June 17, 1-3pm.

These Fairfield and Southport locations are collecting diapers through June 16:

- A Child’s Garden, 100 Mona Terrace

- Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road

- Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road

- St. Paul’s Nursery School, 661 Old Post Road

- Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Avenue, Southport

- Operation Hope, 636 Old Post Road, M-F, 9am-5pm

Thanks to all who have donated and especially to Brenda and Laura for leading the charge to care for our littlest neighbors in need!
