The Young Women’s League of New Canaan awarded Operation Hope a grant in the amount of $4,000 in support of our Work Program.
“Operation Hope’s work program provides real work opportunities to those who live in (our) homeless shelters. There is job training for those with little or no experience, help with references and resumes. The clients can increase their self-esteem, raise their income, become independent again and community ties are strengthened.”
We are grateful for the League’s support of our clients’ efforts to obtain employment and work towards their goals of self-sufficiency. Their contribution truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
