Great live music on Mondays in November through Thanksgiving, beginning at 8:30pm. The Horseshoe Cafe will be collecting non-perishable food, as well as accepting cash donations to help feed our hungry neighbors in need this holiday season. Many thanks to the Horseshoe, its staff and management, its patrons and all musicians for their support to help us end homelessness and end hunger, one person at a time.

Take a break from cooking and doing dishes Thanksgiving morning and join us for breakfast at Chip’s Family Restaurant, Fairfield! On Thanksgiving Day, November 23, from 6am-11am, enjoy 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage or bacon and coffee or tea. No reservations required! The cost is $12/person. All proceeds benefit Operation Hope’s efforts to end hunger and end homelessness right here at home.

Join us for “A Christmas Carol” on Thursday, November 30, 7-9pm at Black Rock Church. This heartwarming show-of-the-season will be performed by Gerald Charles Dickens, the great-great grandson of literary master, Charles Dickens. Gerald, an actor and producer hails from Oxford, England and performs his captivating rendition of this timeless holiday classic in select venues.
